Hello and welcome to the Media Studies Department at Wyke Sixth Form College, Kingston-upon-Hull. Currently there are just over 180 students studying AS and A2 Media Studies in the department. They are supported by a small team of staff -Tim Anderson(Department Head), Rebecca Ives (teacher), Emma Phillipson (teacher), John Hamlin (teacher) and Ray Hutty (Head of AV Support).
This blog is intended to act as portal access to all the blogs of my current AS and A2 students. They are all currently working on their Foundation Portfolio (creating a new music magazine) and Advanced Portfolio (self-directed brief that includes an element of video production) project work.
